Dear Mr. Nakabayashi Shoten
A chicken specialty store in Fuchu City that processes and sells chicken meat asked us to create an EC site utilizing a subsidy. The majority of their sales came from wholesaling to local restaurants, so we proposed creating a BtoB site to continue growing their numbers there, and decided to build a web & EC site at the same time. We also focused on points of operational improvement within the store that came to light as we listened to their story, and provided advice and support.

They told us that they would like to create a website to sell their products through EC by utilizing a subsidy program (Small Business Sustainability Grant).
Need to create a system that focuses mainly on BtoB
Although the request was for BtoC sales through EC, we felt the need to create a site with BtoB in mind. This was because many of Nakabayashi Shoten's customers are local restaurants, which is also a strength of the company. In addition, we found out through interviews that there was a need to improve order-related operations. We felt that we needed to change the analog method of calculating orders, which is done by hand and typed every morning for two hours.

Propose a two-pillar web & EC site that can handle both BtoB and BtoC
Since it was assumed that the subsidy system would be utilized, we first responded by supporting the application process. For the B-to-B approach, which was predicted to be highly cost-effective, we showed the manufacturing process on the website and carefully introduced the restaurants that use Nakabayashi Shoten's chicken meat one by one. We also worked with them to develop their brand. We also made sure to present accurate and attractive store information to encourage customers to visit the stores. We also provided support for the introduction of an order tally system, which allowed us to digitize the daily management of orders.

Willingness to improve business to BtoB
Sales were originally favorable, but they became very motivated to strengthen BtoB as a strategy to continue to do so in the future.
Success in attracting customers to stores and steady sales in e-commerce
In addition to customers such as restaurants, the number of new customers including general customers has increased, and by focusing on the website, the appeal of the store was communicated well, resulting in an increase in visits to the store.

Expect to have a good grounding in EC sales along with new business development
They are planning to expand their stores in the future, and we hope that this will lead to an increase in EC sales, while we look forward to the development of new business.
