Dear Traditional Crafts Corporation/DENTO

A former picture frame manufacturer and now a woodworking manufacturer of furniture and wood products with a factory in Joge-cho, Fuchu City, asked us to provide support for the startup and overall operation of their business. We provided support in a wide range of tasks, beginning with the creation of tools and operational support for sales at furniture exhibitions, and continuing with the renewal of the corporate website, branding of the company as a whole, supervision and operation of in-house events, and the launch of an e-commerce site with Corona Disaster.

About 10 years ago, we started B-to-B sales of original furniture, and we heard that they wanted to strengthen their B-to-B sales activities, especially at exhibitions.

Become a player in your own business

We started out as a BtoB sales support company, but as we learned more about them, we realized that we needed to create a wide range of environments over the long term, including streamlining internal operations, organizing and strengthening resources, and providing support for event management. Therefore, we decided that we should not only provide advice and support, but also become a player ourselves and work together to advance the business.

Full support from business start-up to operation

First, we worked on the creation of tools for BtoB sales, strengthening operations, and digitization of ordering and receiving while simultaneously providing support in applying for subsidies. We were also involved in branding, which ranged from the renewal of the corporate website to the supervision and operation of factory events planned by in-house staff, and the production and operation of the in-house e-commerce site for Corona Disaster.

Improvement of morale throughout the company

By joining the team and working together, we were able to speedily improve the work environment, the awareness of internal staff, and the output (productions, new products, etc.), leading to an environment and time that allowed us to take on challenges, and to the awareness of staff.

Helping the entire company step up

From environmental improvement, to moves to increase awareness of the company and brand (e.g., holding events) and moves to increase product sales (e.g., operating an e-commerce site), all conducted simultaneously, the company was able to steadily gain fans & sales.

Gaining more fans & sales while trying new projects

There is a vast amount of work to be done in the future, but I would like to take on more and more challenges in planning from the user's perspective, not in a one-way sales approach that ends with the sale of a product, but in a way that encourages people to fall in love with the brand's worldview and to maintain a relationship with the brand even after they have picked up the product.
