We were asked to build an e-commerce site for a store in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which was established in 1933 and is popular locally for its handmade popsicles. Having previously only sold their products in stores, we decided that rebranding was necessary to encourage people all over Japan to choose their products, so we redesigned their packaging and leaflets.

Up until now, they have only sold in stores and wholesale, but they told us that they would like to try their own e-commerce site.

Rebranding to deliver nationwide

Local recognition was sufficient, but in order to bring Azumaya's ice cream to the rest of the country, we needed to rebrand around our products.

New packaging and leaflet

Since the store did not have personnel capable of EC operations, we were conscious of making the EC site as simple as possible. We also redesigned the packaging and the leaflets distributed at the store, using a seal in the Arctic as the image character.

I was able to sort out the appeal of ice cream making and products.

We believe that the rebranding process was a good way to reaffirm the strengths of our stores.

Increased number of stores handling the product and increased sales

Recognition is spreading as the product is featured in various media, and sales are increasing as more and more stores carry the product.

Securing human resources capable of EC operations and branding

We will need people who can actively operate the e-commerce site in the future. From there, I hope we can promote branding of the entire company, including the stores.
