Dear Kinko's Miso Co.

A long-established miso manufacturer established in 1872, requested us to create a mail-order website to acquire BtoB customers in Japan, to make general customers in the neighborhood into fans, and to start a direct sales business. The e-commerce site was redesigned with a larger product lineup than the existing site.

We want to sell miso by weight efficiently on our own e-commerce site."

Originally, we were selling products by weight online, which could be ordered through an inquiry form, but requests increased and we heard that they wanted to make the process from order to delivery more efficient.

We should focus on promoting our company & products to the domestic market.

Since the company's main business was wholesaling products overseas, mainly in Eastern Europe, there was not enough BtoB or BtoC approach to the domestic market, and although there were many paper media that summarized the appeal of the company and its products, the content was not reflected on the website. We decided that we needed to focus on the renewal of the existing corporate site rather than the e-commerce site.

Balanced construction of two sites after brand reorganization

We started by unifying the logo and design of each product package, which had been disparate. We also created a flow line from the corporate site to the e-commerce site by building a system that allows customers to easily access the e-commerce site from the product introduction on the site.

Aggressive attitude toward in-house EC operations

Since sales have been steady only through direct sales in stores and wholesale, EC has tended to be a low priority in the past, but now the company is moving aggressively to earn profits through EC.

Unexpected opportunity for recruiting

In addition to an increase in store visits & sales, a renewed approach to the domestic market, centered on the corporate website, has resulted in a more attractive corporate identity, and has led to the acquisition of young, talented people, which was unexpected.

We would like to support web sales promotion domestically and internationally.

With the addition of new personnel, we have become more organized, and I would be happy to support web-based sales promotion of companies and products both in Japan and overseas in the future.
